In this episode, we’re going to learn how Mexico has achieved so-called gender parity and we’re going to travel to other Latin American countries to meet women who are using their creativity to get around the lack of diversity in politics.

Based on the study, the audiovisual series ELECTED – Women in politics shows in the three episodes what happens to politics when women take office. The series reports on how women on the streets influence institutions; the challenge of holding power; and the path to make sure more women engage in politics.

The series was created by Instituto Update in partnership with Quebrando o Tabu, Maria Farinha Filmes with coproduction of Spray Content.
